Looking for my Lost Symphony

Posted on March 16, 2025July 26, 2025
Dedicated to Nhi Quân...

In November 2024, I drove to San Diego to look for you. I knew it was a hopeless situation, but I would just go. I strolled around La Jolla and Mission Beach (because I left voice mails for you the day before). I was hoping to see you somewhere around the corners. Certainly, I was full of wishful thinkings.

You came up to my life and You left a permanent imprint. I was the one who lost you. You are my Lost Symphony.

Where we first made love? Carlsbad near San Clemente. I was looking for you as if I was staring into the fog, knowingly that I had truly lost you 5 years ago. No matter where you are, what you are doing, I will always pray for you, for your well being, for your true and holy love, the love that you deserved.

On December 31 2024

I made an out-of-the-blue decision to drive to You. I left a note book in front of your house or perhaps your former house? I love you.

"We could have watched sunrise together"

On Jan 1 2025, I was standing near Santa Monica beach and soaking in the sunlight while my mind is immersed in memories. We spent one night in Santa Monica in 2019 and it was me who missed out on the Sun, and so, I missed out on You.

My Little Quan

Your gazes and your symphony are always in my heart.

I was wandering around the street of Oakland from Jack London Square to Underdog Film Lab and I found abandoned piano. Some one must have left it behind …
