Finally, Jolie gifted me the Nikon S3 camera and is the source of many of my photos, sadness, or happiness or revelations. I embraced her as-is and I embraced all emotions, sadness, nostalgia, or happiness.

When I watched The Godfarther many years ago, I watched through the lens of entertainment. I looked for moments of how the mob handled their businesses. Several years later, I watched the saga again through the lens of cinematography and photography. And finally, I watched the saga again through the lens of someone who knows grief and loss. The last scene struck me with tears and profound sadness. Michael, at the end of his life, was alone in the backyard, and he watched the flashbacks of 3 women in his life, Apollonia, Kate and Mary, all of whom he had lost.
