Nov 2023 – Freeway. HWY 60 East vs West. One direction is toward; whereas, the other is away from Riverside. I was at the crossroad and carrying with me a strange sense of unnamed sadness and peace.
Thank you Holy Father for such a beautiful journey over which I have grown. The pain was there but it was my choice. Yet, the lessons were priceless.
In hind sight, as I am starting at this very frame, isn’t there a sign to tell me to “let go”, to make ways to ward the West and let the East rest in my memories?
