You and Me in 2023

Posted on November 3, 2024November 3, 2024

The frames of “us” are grainy, imperfect but they were always colorful and they always placed a permanent imprints in me, through the end my time on this Earth.

Literally You and Me
Pasadena 2023 – You flew in and I drove
Peter F Schabarum County Park – I walked aimlessly and drove aimlessly
Somewhere along the 17-mile drive. The ending, but also another beginning, golf green. September 2023

I remembered the last morning of our Riveroaks residency. We would move to the Verdant by the end of October 2023. During that last morning, I took the last stroll around the block, soaked in myself with the morning Sun. I was engulfed by sadness and a deep sense of loss. I captured 2 final frames to solidify this chapter of my life, or our lives.

October 2023 morning sunlight. This is one of the last frames captured at Riveroaks.

I wrote this post almost 1 year after. This is now November 2024. We have made many turns during the past 1 year.
