Stockton and Merida and Sunnyvale

Posted on March 28, 2024June 17, 2024
UOP – Stockton – Sometimes in Feb/March 2024 on Nikon S3 Kodak film – I accidentally underexposed the whole role.

I would want to drive or to walk away, far away. I would enjoy such a trip for no particular reason. I read somewhere that photography is about instilling the feelings in to each frame, and so, I tried.

UPO campus was quiet in a Sunday/Saturday morning. I was looking for something. Memories? Peace, or Hope?

Merida – Yucatan – Mexico

My cup has overflown and spilled over yet, yet it is actually empty and plain. I enjoyed a tiny corner under the hot sun (it was damn hot!). I remembered the strong and turbulent winds.

Merida is like a different world. I walked along empty streets, chase a cat, observed an old couple pedaling away on their cycle in the middle of rush hour traffic, walked under the intense Sun. Perhaps, I should come back and visit.

I enjoyed the people, the air, the vibe, the food.

That was a short trip. The following weekend, I strolled around Sunnyvale. There was an intense feeling of loneliness, yet peacefulness.
