By time of the creation of this page, I had sold off the Sony A7ii camera and lenses. I do film exclusively now. So, why film? That is probably another topic for another day.
Mamiya m645 with 80 mm f2.8 lens. Medium-format has a different “feel” in it, at least for me. The transition between in-focus and out-focus is more distinctive which makes things “pop” in the image, so to speak. The large negative captures more details than the popular 135 film. There are only 16 frames, in comparison to 36 or 24 frames in a 35 mm film camera.
Nikon S3 2000 Rangefinder + 50 mm f2.8 Nippon Kogaku lens. Lightweight, compact. This camera is built like a tank, very durable. It is entirely mechanical, not battery is required. It’s very fun to shoot with.
